Hi all,

have just joined this forum and introduce myself as requested:

name is Gunter, I live in Kent, have a gun at a local pheasant shoot and have been competing at Bisley since 1974, when I shot for Kenya, where I then lived.
(mainly fullbore UIT pistol though; that was my game on targets until 1997!)

Have not done much stalking in this country, if only for lack of opportunity - and now getting old and creaky.
Did however do quite a lot of hunting in Kenya in the 70's.
Had a 9.3x62 and a .270 then.

Have just sold my .308 (SIG), .270 Carl Gustaf, 22Hornet Walther KKJ and have a .222Rem left, which I use for a bit of fox control on the shoot.

I am a life member of the NRA (America) since 1974
Life member British Pistol Club since 1977 or thereabouts
Founder Member of the (now defunct I believe) Nat'l Pistol Association (UK)

I came to the UK in 1976, then went to the good old US of A for a number of years, returned in 1985 and have been in Kent ever since.

so, that should do for now

Best regards
Gunter
