Aye benelli at x 3 the price! For a knock about gun and for wildfowling it will do me, read up all about the probs with the first lot that came in to the UK, problems now solved, keeper mate has shot tons white hares and never had a problem and guns is used as a tool not well looked after and it still preforms in all weather. So off to collect mine now.

I have used a fair number of semi's and can only advise 3,

    no1 - Browning gold hunter 3 1/2"

    no2 - baretta extrema

    no3 - benelli

do not touch the escort if you are going to shoot 3" or mini mag loads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

honestly i have seen 2, quite litterally fall apart in peoples hands whilst shooting, load of cheap rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!

you will not go wrong with a browning, in my opinion it is the best semi going.

I have had my Escort for 5 years, have dragged it through all sorts of muck and shot everything and anything through it and with it> Never missed a beat. Which is more than can be said for the Remmy 1100 and Beretta 309 Lioness limited edition I have owned, and sold.

They had an issue when they ramped up production for a big military contract they got, and if you picked up one during that period they apparently had a friday afternoon feeling to them, but never heard of any falling apart
.308, because if I want to watch something run away, I'll take my dog for a walk.
