Oh Deer, oh deer, oh deer !

Surely this sort of video is not a good representation of our sport, and will only fuel opposition?

    >>>>>> <<<<<<

Ricochets, house in background, unsafe backdrop, driving deer etc etc.

What does everyone else think, or am I missing something here?

I would expect a visit from the police would be in order, The use of Firearms is under threat at all times and this captured on Video is surely fuel for tighting up the already strict Gun Laws.

Sorry I must be watching a different video to you guys.

Safe backstop for both shots cannot really see a problem with the video.

If you want to see no backstops and dogy shooting try this link

what a clown very unsafe looking at the houses behind the deer no back stop might have being slightly safer if taken from a high seat shooting downwards

Sorry that's crazy, a bullet can deflect wildly after passing through..... the houses are well inside the danger zone. Posted a comment on the guys tube. These kind of videos are bad news and need pulled. While seeing them is fine don't give them publicity cause what happens when the novice sees it and follows the example or anti types use it as fuel.

Fish in a barrel , as for the first video, obviously a well thought out plan, mate walks deer out of wood into field, two dead roe, it may not be what some people call stalking but its effective deer control

In the flatlands that is as good as backstop as you get.

Cannot see anything wrong with the backstop chosen and have seen more marginal backstops as the safe shot on FC safety lanes and DSC1 safety assessments

Paul if anything was learnt form the hunting debate is that however clean you try to keep things the antis will always win, make the most of it while you can because no doubt in the not to distant future, you will not have a gun, no matter how many worthless bits of paper you have. So lock and load and enjoy the ride.

nah, if you know anything about safety then that first shot was dangerous. If you don't think safety then you shouldn't have a gun. All that bullet had to do was deflect, stone skim or simply miss an ricochet off and with those houses lives were at risk.
