    Hi

Been asked by a farmer to cull some fallow . I need to put up 6 highseats so does anyone have some plans or pics I could use to build out of timber.

I use 2"x3" tanalised timber to make a ladder 3 metres long with the steps at 60cm centres and 60cm wide. Then I make a box with diagonals for strength to screw to one end of it to sit in. Important to get the height of the box right for yours height and sitting position so you can aim with ease and also make it deep enough to sit back in, about 60cm?

IanF had some pics of his as he offered a training course on how to make them if you search. and Another chap down that way has a different design ( http://img827.imageshack.us/g/p1000262xn.jpg / ) which I tried but I prefer the box

If you PM me an e-mail address I shall send you a copy of one that was in the shooting times a few years back.

Would it not be easier to get into climbing the ladder than the back of the tree
