    Tikka after market triggers?

Anyone try other triggers on a Tikka T3?

    Hey,

Jackson Rifles do/did one called a Jackson CG match; realistically though they are pretty good and adjustable factory units.

I see Welcome to JARD, Inc. do a good range of triggers for the T3 also.
    Never seen one yet though.

I had one for a Tikka 595, and after a well respected gunsmith had tried for an inordinate amount of time to get it to work safely, it was abandoned and reverted to the factory trigger, polished and adjusted to reduce the 'pull weight'. That trigger is now just fine for a stalking rifle.

Carried out the same process for a Tikka 695, it is also fine for a stalking rifle.

CG Triggers are no longer made for Sako or Tikka rifles, look up Whidden Gunworks who now manufacture them in the USA , but only for Remington actions the last time I looked.

    Best

    Thank Pete,

That sucks, I really want a great trigger.

I talked to the X-Treme guys in America, they are having this trigger made in Germany and he will import some to the states. So when he has them he is going to send one to me.

    Hopefully it is good.

Ahhhhh... good news for the Tikka/Sako fans! Thanks for the heads up on the changing situation.

I stopped looking a year or more ago, as I just ran into brick walls at that time.
