    Interesting program on wildboar in the US

    Stumbled across this video on the internet, found it quite interesting so thought you all might enjoy it.

    Yes, thanks for that - very interesting. The problems don't seem to be confined to the US as my french friends are saying that the rapid rise in boar numbers and the continuing fall in the number of hunters is now seriously worrying the French Government for similar reasons.

    Glad you both enjoyed it

    Will be interesting to see how things develop, both in the UK and Norway as the wild boar begin to expand their foothold. Over here in Norway they are slowly starting to move over from Sweden into the western counties, only time will tell!

    Very interesting video. The Galapagos Islands had similiar problem with feral goats (albeit contained within a significantly smaller area). They ended up successfully eradicating all of the goats by shooting them from helicopters en masse.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the quote "We're not going to BBQ our way out of this problem." Brilliant.

    Very interesting!

    Not sure about the driven boar though.
