    6.5mm Nosler stockists in surrey

Anyone know who stocks 6.5mm Noslers in Surrey/London. Ideally looking for something in the 120-130gr range to feed my .260.

    Thanks,

    Will

Rakers at Northchapel in W Sussex had a load of Nosler 120 BT if you re passing, if not , then I tend to order from Aftab at Reloading Solutions and get them delivered to local RFD. Anyone at Bisley has been a dead loss for hunting bullets - all target stuff.

    Good luck with your search.

Thanks, had to look that up on the map , don't think I'll be passing there anytime soon.
Will have to try and order - I am at Bisley sunday so might as well have a nose around.

    Cheers,

    Will

P.S. Andersons Has 100gr in stock. Any experience of these in a .260?
Strike me that they may be a bit fast and result in meat damage.

I found 100gr Hornaday failed to exit bullets fragmented leaving jacket and a bit of lead .
129gr Hornaday are my prefered .260 deer round

    I shoot fallow and muntjack

I used to use the 100 Gn NBT when I first had the .260 conversion done on my 595, they left the barrel at 3150 fps, and were very accurate, not such a hot load either but very destructive.... so I stopped using them and moved up to 120Gn at 2850 fps which are very good, low damage to roe and stop Fallow DRT, now looking at trying 130 Gn Accubonds if I can get hold of some.

The 100 Gn will of course stop anything in UK if the placement is right, and you dont worry too much about front end damage on the smaller species. Foxes hate them
