What about the Bath Arms at Crockerton - just south of Warminster? Sounds OK in my out-of-date Good Pub Guide!

Sounds good to me. I'd certainly be interested to meet more local stalkers.

+1 for a pint and a chat any thought on a date yet ?

For the fishing i may be able to book a boat out of weymouth at the end of the holiday season with my usual skipper if there is enough interest the cost is usualy between 40 to 65 per person depending on numbers of anglers and distance travelled ie inshore or deep sea [ species dependent for the time of year]
On one of our trips last year we were more than two hours off shore with eight or nine on the boat fishing for cod and pollack with pirks and shads for 60 pp and had a great time catching plenty of both with many into double figures.
