    Fair Price ?

What would be a fair price for once fired brass ?

    Depends who made it.

Lapua £35 - £40/100. Norma, almost as much.

The rest half of that max.
    Brian.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

bewsher im gonna be selling some, mostly .243 & .308, got some .30 06 .270 and .222. The Brass iv got is RWS Sako and Norma. Just need to sort out how many of each i have.

I am always wary of one-fired brass. I once bought 1000 pcs pf Lake City Match .308 only to find it was "once fired" in an M-60 machinegun and the rims were so bashed out of spec that they wouldn't even fit in my shell-holder. I still have it.

I would rather buy 40 pcs of new brass and know what I am getting, than 100 pcs of mystery brass at the same price -especially for a new rifle. If a once fired case separates on firing, was it the rifle, the load, or the brass?~Muir

    What Muir said +1.

Just how big a part of the overall budget is the brass?

Head down, I can hear the incoming already.....

That one is a real gem, well and truly tucked up there muir. That is the kind of experience we all need to help us learn! Regards, Ed.

Except that if you buy once fired brass in this part of the world its going to be highly unlikely to have gone thru a M60 before hand .

    That's a bit steep, I'd say.
