    Tick removal

Hello - - I'm removing an average of a tick per day at the moment. It's a pity other females don't find me so attractive !
Anyway I've just bought a Removal Tool from Ebay. Why don't we sell them in the shop ?
To answer my own question perhaps it's too much hassle for all the return ?

    Regards

    JR

Buy a few tick removal tools at your local vet office, same for people, works great. Just carry two (or a double ended)..one for big ticks and one for small, along with a couple of airplane or boots antisceptic wipes. jobs done

I found the best thing to use was dental floss. cut a piece off about a foot long and tie half a reef knot then put it over the tick right down near the skin and pull tight and lift gently. The lot comes out clean. Dab of peroxide and there you go.

+1 for the O'Tom Tick Twister, hate the BAS***DS with a passion.

Though this Doctor does have some alternatives for removal.

I've no idea if any of these work but there seems to be a few natural tick repellants which might be worth a shot to prevent the ticks getting into a position to sink their little heads into you.
