    Brass prices

I just got the new Bushwear catalogue through the post yesterday and my gasp was well and truly flabbered when I saw how much they are charging for brass.
    308 @ 62.99
    243 @ 62.99 and
    303 @ 74.99.
That's not even Lapua! What brand do Bushwear supply?
It makes the purchase of 100 Prvi factory rounds, and saving the brass for reloading, a much more attractive proposition.
You can't say muntjac without saying, Mmmmmm.

THere's not alot that's cheap that comes out of bushwear, the cheap cases appear to be prvi/ppu, and I would say that to buy online/ mail order for ppu H Kranks take some beating.

As a footnote, Ive had some 243 once fired cases donated which I've deprimed and cleaned, the most concentric of which are PPU, the worst are remmington, the primer flash holes are way out of concentricity and the flash holes are at an angle, not going straight up the centre of the cartridge, which I would think would give uneven burning of the powder, not the end of the world I know, but I'd sooner have the PPU for the general uniformity and certainly the price

You are lucky - 6.5x47 is over 100 but at least it lasts multiple cycles which makes it relatively good value I suppose... More cycles than you'll get out of Prvi I'd wager

    lapua 308 is 49.80 euro with shooting-supplies.eu .
Postage charges are not too bad. If you spend over 200 euro postage is free to UK mainland.
