    Introduction. From North Lanarkshire

    Hi Guys,

I stay in North Lanarshire but shoot mainly in Perthshire and Fife. Been shooting for about 14 years now and just gradually working my way up from the air rifle to .22 and shotgun and now getting into deer stalking. I've just been granted my variation for a .243 and have ground with plenty of Roe deer and raring to go.

I'm still on the look out for a decent set up but thinking of getting a CZ with sound mod as it seems like a good solid starter rifle that isn't going to break the bank.

Looking forward to getting started and getting to know some of you guys.

    Cheers, Gav.

    Hi
You wont go far wrong with a CZ, they have been making good value, solid rifles for years, spend as much as you can on the scope though, you'll not regret it

    Cheers mate.

I do like CZ's and always surprised how well priced they seem to be. Have one in .22 and love it.

I've already got a scope for it which someone gave me and it's certainly good enough to get me started.

The strangest thing is just two weeks ago I aquired a new permission with Roe deer which is around 750 acres. Was just wondering how the hell you knew that and I hadn't posted it anywhere!

Obviously just really some strange coincidence
