Don't flap about it, enjoy the course, I don't know anyone who has done it, who didn't enjoy it.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

TG - I've done the same and am doing it in Sept as well, in Sevenoaks. Very interesting, Finding some of the questions a bit confusing, though!

There will plenty of free and useful advice on here, I'm sure if you post the "unsure" questions, someone on here will answer it for you. You could try Pneudart on here for the interactive CD he is offering.......

The course I did in 2008, I did prepair for, learnt on the course and enjoyed it, my instructors were 100% all the way through it. If you don't know ask!! Better to ask what you might think is a stoopid question than fail the exam, I'm sure there will be someone else on the course wanting to ask the same question.

I have mine booked for August.
I am away at work now and forgot to bring the course manual with me.
I have seen a link on here that contained an electronic folder about the DSC 1
Does anyone have this link so I can do some studying while I am away.
    Cheers
    Dave
