    hi we used to run deerhound greyhound/collies for rabbits had some real class evenings with them,also used to be involved with east anglian lurcher owners club,dont know if it is still going tho,haven't had long-dogs for a while now.

    yup thats how i remember them first one was slate blue/grey ,second was light sandy one ,both came from a traveller at different times i think he was the same bloke tho, he seemed genuine ok not usual type

    Yep well do/did....My all round hunting buddy GSPxGreyhound. Bit too heavy for rabbits, and the ground I have so he does a bit but not much now. He's a clever dog with a really good nose so has taken to being a blood tracker/insurance policy and general out and about dog really well......He pointed a hen pheasant today his first ever! Catches rats etc, only thing is he can't come beating cos if he's running and a deer gets up he's gone. can't blame him though got him at 8months old with no name or training!
