Thread: Is there any stalking east of Hull?

Is there any stalking east of Hull?

    Hi everyone.

I'm just curious to know if there's any stalking east of Hull (I imagine that there is), and what it is like. Having ventured that way when I was a child I recall the land being almost all arable and very flat with almost no woodland.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

Which HULL are you thinking of? There's a load of farmland between Hull and the North Sea - or is coastal erosion a bigger problem up there than I first thought???

Not looking particularly likely then - with the exception of John.

DC.270 - thought I'd reply to this as its in my back yard!

stalking is very thin on the ground which is quite bizarre really as the roe population is out of control. The landowners and farmers in this neck of the woods don't have the knowledge of deer so opt to ignore the need for management. I've waved a lot of cash under the noses of farmers and still I can't get in anywhere (and bobt I amrelated to most of them haha!) The other problem is the area is quite heavily poached and I would suggest most of the deer taken are by these means or by some of the lesser experienced lamping crew!

good luck in your quest, pm me if you want some more info
