    Tikka 595 Stock

Nothing to do with me, but might be of interest to someone.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

    Cheers Tartinjock,
Could be exactly what I'm looking for, it lists it as a short action stock, does that mean that my .243 action will fit? Off to search Tikka back catalogue.

I can't answer that, but as a point to note, my 22-250 and .270 T3's have the same ejector case hole, so out of pure curiosity, I tried the stocks on either rifle, they fit and eject.........Thay are short and long action calibres.

I've just heard back from the guy, it's had a 22-250 in it. All I can find on the Tikka back catalogue shows 22-250 and 243 in the same size ie 595 short, so it's got to be worth a punt even if it needs some after market work.

Wonder if the 3 bids currently on it are all people from this site?
