How long to leave 6% hydrogen peroxide on a roe skull

As the title says how long should I leave 6% hydrogen peroxide on a roe skull to bleach it? Thanks in advance

Are you using soaked cotton wool?????? if its left to long it can fall apart particulary in a young animal....


Try applying direct with a paint brush you can seehow much you need....

okay good as long as i havent ruined it in the 3 hours its been on :lol: :lol: :lol:

I wouldnt think so, lift the cotton wool and have a look to see how white or yellow its turning,as said earlier paint it on with a brush works very well....
 
I use stronger peroxide so might be wrong with this, but I think 4-6h should be enough. I personally dont like too white heads as I think the bone does not look natural. I often use 30% peroxide and it is enough just to brush with peroxide clean wet skull, making sure you cover all places, and leave it to dry. You could repeat the process, but it is usually not neccessary.
 
6% for 16 hours and looks like this. Spot on I think.
