A good place to start is with a Sierra Blitzking. Ive shot 50g Blitzkings out of mine with 35g of Hodgdon Benchmark behind it for 12 months and its a nice flat round. Just got some 40g Vmax to try and get the 4000 ft/sec mark out of it, using 40g of Varget, will let you know how that goes. What twist/barrel length has the rifle got? Cheers Steve

Thank's Steve ! Iv'e fancied the Winchester 70 coyote light !? Not sure on the twist rate though !

    my two loads are

    50 grain blizking bullet
    35.5 grains of varget powder
    remmy brass
    cci br large rifle primer.

    OR

    50 grain nostler bullet
39.5 grains of imr 4007ssc powder
    nostler brass
cci 200 large rifle primer [ not the brench rest primer]

both shoot superb. the imr powder gives more fps and better case fill then the varget gives. over chrono averaging 3832 fps. so nice and flat shooting. 10 shots under a 5 pence piece at 100 yards.

THESE ARE MY LOADS THOUGH AND SAFE IN MY RIFLE. if you use them start lower and work up

I load 22-250 with 55g Nosler BT with Remington Brass, CCI lr 200 Primer, and 36g of Varget, think its around the 3400 fps mark and seems to be a very unpopular combination with the foxes in sussex.

First things first ! Find out what POWDERS your stockist gets regular supplies of ! Same go's with bullets .

That will narrow you choices for loads, and work from there.
