    Catton Park rifle shoot

Last shoot of the season turned out to be a good one althrough it did look like we were all going to get a soaking, but the clouds parted and apart from a few small showers we had a great day. Yet again Hundreds and hundreds of shots fired and you all seemed to have a great time. The woodland shoot was popular again with a couple of very tricky targets that had some of you searching to find them.
I must be getting better at placing targets as when collecting the targets off the red and blue sections of the bank 5 did not have a bullet holes in them.
I have put alot of photos on the web site as I seem to be struggling to put some on here please feel free to have a look and look at the page JULY SHOOT

Thanks to all that have come to the shoots and we hope to be back next year bigger and better keep checking the web site for updates. if any of you did take any photos or videos and would like to share them then please send them to me or put them on here.

Many thanks to you & your marshals Carl it was a great day, brilliant to meet & chat to like minded people & meet up with old friends.

We all thoroughly enjoyed it especially the long range targets & the woodland shoot.

Looking forward to next year already.

    Chris & the Oxfordshire contingent
Life should be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving skidding in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!

+1 on what Chris has said.

The Hereford contingent also had a good time.

It was good to shoot out to longer ranges and see where you have to aim off to hit those for out targets.

Hats off to all of those who hepl to run a very enjoyable day.

    Thank you

A great day out and a good opportunity for us folk that do most of out shooting at less than 100m to try the longer range stuff. Thanks very much to Carl and his gang for putting it on.
