    7 point roe buck

how rare is a 7 point roe buck also would u take him or leave him

  2. #2
Possibly not as rare as you may think and very often you won't know it was a 7point until you've shot him
I've shot a couple over the years, never knew 'till they were grassed.
    Cheers, Pete.

7pointers are quite common, but it is your callas to whether you should take him out,cos only you know what is on your land.If he was on my land as it stands he would go.

If he was on the majority of my land he would be shootable.Wether he is a 7 or 10 pointer would make no difference but just adds to the uniqueness of the head. Not really rare and probably shoot 4-5 a year with more than 6 points.

Have him yourself and have him mounted.

Shot a 7 point (expected silver medal) Buck about 2 months ago.
Didnt see that it was 7 point (broadside view/shot) until after grassing it, although the 'extra' point is the same size as 5th and 6th points.
Will put photo up once I get the head cleaned (currently in freezer).
