self contained mobile butchery container with built-in chiller

this is a 20ft shipping container that has been converted into a butchery, the container is in good condition with chub security locks to doors, it has a walk-in chiller at one end that is 8ft by 5.5ft, walls and ceilings all plastic lined and tiled floor, the ceiling is also insulated to stop condensation otherwise known as container rain. the chiller is top make and works well with the main unit sited on top of container, electrics include water proof single and double sockets on a ring main back to a consumer unit in container, water proof light switches, splash proof strip light with diffuser and a waterproof light in cold-room, out side the container is a large industrial type plug, just plug lead in then other end into a supply via a standard 3 pin socket and your away, water for plumbing inside connects via a simple hose fitting to any outside supply or can be easily plumbed permanently if desired, drainage is via a 50mm drain pipe coming out of unit that can be dropped into a drain hopper or waste tanks if no drainage is available.
the unit comes with the following fitted,
    s/s 1.2m sink
    s/s hand-wash sink
hot water heater that supply's both sinks
    two plastic wall mounted shelf's
1 large s/s shelf, ( not shown in photos as just fitted)
    fly curtains at main door
    fly curtains at chiller door
large wall mounted fan to take out butchery smells and give air circulation
    fly executor
s/s strips on walls above bench areas for protection and on chiller door
wall and floor mounted poly top bench ( not shown in photos as just fitted)
full steel hanging rail, flat bar type ( not shown as just fitted)
    hanging rail in chiller
    shelving in chiller
chiller has ally chequer plate floor
plastic safety ramp to front doors ( step of about a foot )
    large wipe board
    2 no hand towel dispensers
    soap dispenser
2 fire extinguishers to cover all fire types ( fully serviced and tested)

this unit is just over a year old, i have been using it to butcher venison, pork , beef and lamb with no issues of space being limited apart from a bit of a jiggle about with the block and cutting table for very large beef sides, i have used it for value added production as well such as sausages and burgers with no problems.
im selling now as i have built a new butchery at new premisses.
the other items you can see in the photos such as benches and equipment do not go with sale of container, but i do have some items that are surplus to requirements.
container is in norfolk with easy accessClick image for larger version.

sorry fallowman im keeping the one i have got, i do have a spare one buts its only a smallish shop mincer we used in the serving area for quick mince, not sure what make it is, voltage is 240v single phase, has 2 plates 6 and 8 mm. it will easily handle 10kg sausage mixes in reasonable time, i will have to have a look at it and make sure its all ok and working before i give a price.
    cheers

Very nice set up! I think it would benefit from a rail system that Runcorn the length of the container to the larder entrance or better still into the larder. This would help with the hassle of carrying and dragging carcasses to the larder past all the processing equipment.

Someone with space could make use of a very nice unit!

yes you are correct, a hanging rail or skid rail down the centre of unit going into the chiller would benefit anyone handling venison carcases, the unit has been built with this in mind and joists and fixing point have been installed to put in a skid rail, also the top section above the chiller door is purpose made to remove for a skid or hanging rail to go through, other mods we were going to do for handling venison was to have an electric winch and skinning rollers fixed to the inside of the left-hand door so when you opened the door you could skin deer in a separate area before passing through butchery on a rail.
on another unit i built similar to this but for bacon production we added air-con and a set of plastic doors and frame to front that did not interfere with main container doors, no matter how good fly curtains are they still get in, not through closed doors though and with aircon on its great to work in on the hottest of days with doors shut, this container can be modified just the same and has been built with these mods in mind, quick search on ebay and it wouldn't cost more than 200 quid

the reason the skid rail was not fitted was that i dealt more in beef pork and lamb and being a typical butcher im more used to lumping carcases of a lorry and straight into chiller via the old shoulder!!
