    243 load data for blaser r8

    hi there has anyone got any load data for a blaser r8 in 243 using 100gr bullets.

    hi nel cant help at the moment just picked up a brand new blaser barrel in 243
    gonna start off with an 87 grain hornady that we copied off eddy EMCC that we
    use in my sons tikka t3 will let you now results as soon as ive been out with it

    Check this out...however, I reckon from past experience if the barrel is 1 in 10 twist, you'd be better with 90-95gn bullets.

    I'm using 95gn Noslar BT in mine. Tried various powders, but Varget was the most accurate. I've had no problem with meet damage on Roe.
    35.2gn Varget, 2830fps (work up to this load). Bubble

    I use 100g Seirra Game kings with 41g of reloader 19 20thou of the lands this has been good with no meat damage only used it on Roe & Fox ATB Steve

    Not specific to a blaser but 36gr V140 behind a hornady 100gr BTSP works for me in a tikka t3

    I used the following with excellent accuracy i.e. 1/8" MOA @ 100 yards.

    Cases trimmed: 2.035"
    Nosler 95gn Ballistic Tip.
    44.5gn Vit. N160
    Rem. 9 1/2 primer.
    Cartridge OAL measured using a comparator: 2.490"
