    A morning stalk

A friend asked me if I wanted to go stalking on Saturday morning, I immediately said yes!

We arrived at the ground and it wasn't long before we glassed a stag. We were able to get to within a close enough range to enable a nice steady shot so I squeezed the trigger and the bullet found it's intended target.

The stag flinched, turned and headed into the field behind him, he was found quite quickly and had only ran on approximately 45yds.

    What a cracking morning!
