A company did a similar thing in this country, it was called an ecorider, it was a monumental flop!

Yeah. I have seen them. Real piece of junk. These Rokon machines have been in constant production, relatively unchanged, for nearly 50 years. The only change they have made is to add the optional suspension to the front end and that was, from all accounts, a worthy change. Puts more pressure on the front wheel when climbing. The drive-chain mechanism to the front wheel is simple and ingenious.~Muir

great, do they have a website?
I presume they'll sponsor you with one. How much for the ordinary folk?

Edi: I wish they'd sponsor me! I took out a two year loan! We ordinary folk pay $6145 US for the basic model. The optional front "Auto Grab" front suspension (as in the photo) is an extra $400, and the tow bar is $65. Shipping from New Hampshire State to Montana is $575. That said, I found a dealer in Colorado that sold me the entire package for $6265 and is willing to deliver it to me in Wyoming when he is up to Denver for an exhibition. Otherwise it would have cost me close to $$7500 from the factory. They ain't cheap but Rokon says that over 90% of all of these bikes sold since the mid-sixties are still in use. They are pretty much indestructible.~Muir

Rokon Scout and Two wheel Drive Motorcycles is the web site but You Tube has the coolest videos. Some of the Rokons on You Tube are 40 years old and matter-of-factly still going at it.

    Muir, that sucks.
the two wheel drive sounds great and the pulling power would be enough for our smallisch deer.
Only thing that would worries me in our area are the ammount of fences.
Maybe a horse would suit us better....
