    do you require a specific bullet seating die for reloading Ackley Improved?

    I wish Lee did a 'classic loader' for AI, I use it for my .243 and it's so nice and simple! I can even bring it with me in the hand luggage when heading up to the highlands for long breaks.

    Ok, I agree, if you're punching a lot of paper or doing range stuff, a bench press is the only way to go, but there's something so nice and primal about he classic loader...

    I think Forster will also supply custom seating die stem inserts for their benchrest and micrometer seating dies. Might be worth speaking to them too...
    Otherwise there is always the arbor press and wilson seating dies. That is portable too!
