I have been reading the forum for a few weeks and its time to post an introduction. In brief:
35 yrs old, in Northern France and having spent a lot of time in Germany. I lived in New Zealand for the latter part of my childhood and plan on heading home in the next few years.
I have taken my Jagdschein (German Hunting Exams) and Permis de Chasse (French Hunting Exams) but have yet to take the BDS1,2 etc looking into it.
I was brought up deerstalking with my father and have been blessed with a huge variety of opportunities. Thar in the Great divide NZ to Driven Boar in the Mosel Forests DEU.
I currently have a Mauser 03 in .375 for runnning Boar.

Keen to get your advice on the relevance of BDS courses, although I do use their insurance in Europe.
I have also have just started the process of trying to get a FAC to bring my Mauser back to the UK if we are posted back on the next rotation.

I hunt with my Bedlington Whippet Bess.
