    Rivers West Sizing

    Hi all.
Has anyone purchased any of the above recently, if you have can you comment on the cut of the cloth. Is it generous or is it tight for UK sizing. Only asking because I am looking to buy one of the Field Pro Smocks. If you have got one of these and can answer my question even better. I dont want to buy and have to return so all comments welcome.
    Cheers,
    John.

    Hi John

I recently bought a RW Field smock - I'm 5'10" and a trim (ahem) 14st 7lb with a streamlined 36" waist and 44" chest - I ordered a 'Large', and it fits just fine, and I'd describe the fit as 'snug' - not too tight, but you could wear a couple of layers underneath no problem, but you couldn't, for example, get another thick fleece underneath.

Hope that helps - and if nowt else, everyone on the site now knows what a fat b*****d I am!!

    ATB,

    Merlin

I'm 6ft, normal (verging on the well padded) build, and find the large smock spot on.

    Thanks for your replies guys.
For the record I am 5ft 10in and only weigh in at about 11 stone so it looks like a Med for me. Hope I can get some underlayers on though as you bloody freeze when your my size. I dont suppose the smoking helps though.
    Cheers,

    John.

I'm about the same size as Collieman, I tried on a large at the Midland with a Buffalo on and it was just about right and not too baggy.
