The enormity of the task at hand

Hi all, a non deer related post.
Having spent the past month studying for my final law exam and having today received books for the first part of an mba, i suddenly had the impact of the enormity of the task at hand. So, what in the past month or so has occurred to you that made you gulp hard?

oh where does the list begin!!! I have to admit, I did my MBA and found it relatively easy, the thing is, it's logical, it's about understanding business principles and practices, and using rational decision making in business applications. Ok there are a few courses that will make the hair stand on the back of your neck due to the mathematics involved, but there's only a couple of them, the rest, if you're a smart guy with business acumen, is really just straight forward.

What makes me gulp hard - I spent and am still paying off the 20K for the MBA, and due to the economy, I've got NOTHING out of it yet from a career growth perspective...apparently unless you go into management consulting (waive goodbye to life), then you need 'relevant experience', not 'qualifications'..blah.
