what are the rules on live capture, transport and introduction of wild deer? be surprised if it was just a case of finding one and shipping it in.

They seem to do it with Muntjac, just need a bigger trailer

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

If I'm not mistaken fallow were re classified in Scotland (in Oct) as an invasive species so releasing them is illegal. As Ben P suggests, contact John Fletcher (deer vet), he will have all the info you need.

Beats me how a species of Deer resident on this Island for at the very least 1000 years can be classified an invasive species. I am not saying you are wrong but do you have any more information on this?

I would speak to Atholl Estates. I am unsure if the display pens have fallow but the estate has a large herd. Journey then not too far. Your request might look better if you wrote stock rather than stalk ATB Jim
