    What is this??

    Hi all,

Whilst out stalking yesterday I came across what I would describe as lumps of wallpaper paste/ jelly, translucent white in colour different sizes but none bigger than a golf ball on the ground.
I have seen this before and wonder if anyone has seen this and maybe know what it is. ( Or was )

    Thanks

If it tastes salty (alledgedly), it could be something different though!

There was R4 programme had a theory it was from frogs. I've certainly seen it by a frog skin.

Jelly fungus and Jews ear are saprophytic so eat dead and dying wood, you would not find them on the ground only on dead wood.
