    fallow deer

    We have had a few threads on how far the little muntjac have spread but how far north are the fallow deer now? Or are there many strong populations in the north?

    Definitely a healthy population in Galloway forest...

    Just remember a coloured square only means that fallow are present, it is no indication of density.

    Good point Paul, currently the new survey is taking place and will be updated when the results all come through.

    it will be intresting to see these surveys and how the deer population are spreading?

    looking at the survey it shows a good population around york? does any one know if this is true? ive never seen any around there

    ok another question, how close to york has any one shot fallow? im just curious as to how far north they are?
