A man with no arms called for an audience with the Deacon of the cathedral to apply for a job as a bell ringer. The Deacon questioned, with no arms, how was he going to ring the bell? The man went over and using his teeth pulled down on the bell rope and sure enough the bell rang. The Deacon was so impressed he gave him the job and for several years he was seen twice a day ringing the bells in his most unusual way.
Unfortunately all that ringing made him dizzy and one day he missed the stairs and fell several stories to his death. A priest hurried over to give him his last rites and asked a alter boy for his name but the boy didn't know it but said............... his face rings a bell though.

Several months later another man comes in asking to ring the bells as a tribute to the armless man, who he explained was his brother. Unfortunately, several days later he fell his death from the same tower. Again the priest rushed over to give last rites and asked for the poor man's name. The same alter boy answered that again he didn't know but............................................... ...................he was a dead ringer for his brother.
