Any help regarding your most accurate loads would be much appreciated.

41gr Varget is best for mine using Sierra 1905 SP's.

Get 2740 FPS consistent out of 24" with 1:9.75 twist

    My books gives

    - Varget 34.5gr to max 43gr
    - N140 34gr to max 42gr.

As ever, start low & work up.

    Nothing I own shows loads for RL17 - only 12, 15 or 19

    RE15 (RL15?) is start 34.8 max 41.2 with book recommended most accurate at 39.6gr giving 2700FPS / 2266 Ft / lbs.

FYI with the 140gr's and Varget I found a considerable improvement in groups when using Rem 9 1/2 primers as opposed to CCI 200's.

If you find yourself straying south of Derbyshire anytime then PM me and I can let you have some Sierra 100gr, 140gr & 175gr to play with - plus a few primers?

140GR Partitions - 43.5gr Varget, very good in mine and my mates rifles. But as said, work upto it.

    7mm-08 loads

Tried some Hornady 139gn btsp with vit 140 but couldnt get a decent group at 100yards with them. Gone for the flat base sp's now and its looking more promissing was getting some one holers and consistently 1/2 groups with 39.3 39.4 of 140 set 0.030". Have gone up to 40.4 for hunting load which has opened up a little, but seems to run best at 0.010" (Norma fire formed brass, ccibr2 primers). Am going to try Varget shortly.

DCG if you want to try some varget, i have some you can try.. I was given it while load developing for my 7-08. Ive tried it and had exactly the same results as with H4895 which is my normal powder for .243, 7-08 and .22-250. Drop me a PM if i can help. I work up near Yarm.
