    DMQ L2 Percentage ???

I have just been browsing through DMQ's web site and notice that as things stand there are currently only 3579 people registered as having completed their DMQ level 2 Qualification.

I would have thought given the amount of recreational stalkers that this number would have been much higher.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of the 3579 are simply recreational stalkers and what percentage have taken the L2 as part of their employment.

Can anyone give an indication ?

    Regards,

    CADEX

I have ticked the 'Requirement of Employer' box although it wasn't a requirement when I took it, but I have since gained employment because of having it.

I'm recreational, I went for my L2 as I think it's the way ahead....Things will become tighter in the future to obtain stalking on a recreational basis, and indeed, holding an FAC.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

The professional approach and general attitude of my Witnesses helped.

Level 2, like it or not, is the way it is going in Scotland - pushed by SNH and FC - sooner or later it will be a requirement for all leases.

I Am only a recreational Stalker at the moment but I took my level 2 because I can see its the way foward its only going to get harder to get stalking and I can see like it or not it will become mandatory one day. looking at becoming an AW soon.
