    243 reloading question

    hi all,
i reloaded 70 shells and shot off 30.
if i were to reload the 30, full case resize, same powder and volume, primer and tips.
would they zero the same as before.
got me level 1 in a few weeks and want to replenish my ammo stock.
the info i got says bring 60 rounds for the shoot test.
    many thanks in advance,
    mark.

when I did my level 1 in march was specifically told only factory loaded ammo allowed and you only fire some 11 rounds I seem to remember if you don't need to rezero.

Yes they should be to the same zero, as always try some of the same batch before your test.

thanks tim, i have been told to neck size the case rather than full resize.

Neck sizing is supposed to be more accurate but it very much depends on your individual rifle, I would suggest that you make up 3 or 6 rounds extra and just fire a couple of 3 round groups

they will shoot the same, but rember to keep your case in batches. based onthe number of fireings to help spot bag cases as they wear

I used to full length resize but lubing the cases and then cleaning it off was a pain. I now neck size only and am happy shooting the .243" out to 1000 yards with match bullets. If everything stays constant with your loads then zero will be the same.

hi ian, doing dsc1 with jelen deer services.
I do partime keepering for a local shoot, so 100gr is more applicable as munty and roe are on the menu.
    cheers for your advice.
