Nikon 7x50 binoculars - very good deal

These aren't mine and I have no involvement, but if anyone is after a very good deal on a quality pair of binoculars then these are worth checking out. Not the latest fashionable wrap-around roof prism design, but very good optically and if I'm not mistaken with a field flattening eyepiece correction (similar to what you get in the new ELs).

I suspect it's because they're a ZCF Porro Prism design which is now regarded as old hat. Roof Prism binos take up about 95% of the market, so Nikon will probably standardise on this line.

Speaking personally, I've got Swaro Habicht BGA 7x42 in the old shape, and just bought another 8x30 casual pair in ZCF - both rubber armoured & ribbed. The reason is I can keep hold of them better than I can those nasty plastic shells which encase roof prism designs.... and the binocular separation is better on these.
If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.
