Thread: Venison prices?

    Venison prices?

Everyone is telling me venison prices have went crazy, anyone know what the prices are for Red & Roe? I never really sell any but all these TV chefs are raising the profile of deer meat but i wonder if this is responsible in any way for recorded poaching complaints rising 45+% last year?

yeah, Bambridges are still on 50p/kg for munty, never seems worth taking them in for that, shame really seeing as there are so many round these parts!

i refuse to run them in , i just put them in the freezer or if i know a mate who wants some venison and i give it away !

is he still paying 2.00 for roe or has he put the price up ? i nearly fell out of my truck when i noticed the price of red had gone up .

2 for Roe and 1.90 for Reds (2 in the summer) but no deduction ever for damaged shoulders or even saddle. I think that's on the low end though price wise but they are local, freindly and hard working.
