Thread: Twist rate question.

  1. #1

    Twist rate question.

Anyone know where I can find the twist rate for two of my rifles? Both are Winchester Mod 70's, 24 inch barrels and post 64's. The fist is a 243 sporter and the second is a 308 Coyote Lite.
Once I have the twist rate how will this influence my choice of bullet weight when loading (for deer) ?

    :9 or 1:10

either way you should suck and see before you write off 100gn rounds
mine is 1:10 and shoots them fine
