Shooting Community 2008 Charity Raffle

Some of you know me here on the Stalking Directory, I am also one of the founding members of the Shooting Community Website.

This year we are running a raffle to raise money for 3 charities, if you could please spare a few moments to have a look at this post you will see the details of the prizes and how to enter:

The charities we are supporting are:

The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust

Gamekeepers Welfare Trust was established in March 1992 with two main aims; 1) the relief of gamekeepers and persons of like occupation and their spouses in old age or where economic circumstances give rise to such need, and 2) to advance funds for educational purposes for the benefit of young persons who make or wish to make their living by the pursuit of Gamekeeping as a profession.

Casting for Recovery

Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland is a non-profit, support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer.

Help for Hero’s

H4H aim is to increase funding for those soldiers injured in current conflicts to aid their recovery.

12 A mornings walked up Pheasant shooting in January (10th or 24th Jan) for 1 gun followed by decoying if weather conditions suit
13 £40 gift voucher for gun shop of your choice
14 VP90 Sachet
15 1lb Bisley Canvas Dummy
16 £25 Gift Voucher from Black Gundog, http://www.blackgundog.com/

Prizes have been divided into two groups and tickets are available from any of the admin or mod team in the shooting community website.

If you can please buy a ticket or tickets, ALL money raised will be passed to the charities we are supporting.

Put me down for two outings am/pm for a Roe Buck stalk on me in West Sussex to be taken this coming year 09 at a time that suits both parties, but best in the rut.

Draw will take place this evening at 8.30pm.

I will announce all the winners on a new thread at the Shooting Community forum and then will be contacting each one over the next couple of days to arrange delivery of the items or exchange details of the people offering prizes.
