    A quick introduction

I have been involved in stalking for the last 30+years, using mainly a 270 Rigby - a special build donated, by a very special wife, as a Christmas gift.

Being aged and semi retired, I have, during the last few years, become involved in long distance target shooting (1000 yard), which in turn has had an interesting effect on my stalking. I am now happier to use high-seats but the shot taken is now always in the neck.

I have over a 40 year period breed my own line of working Labradors and one of my current bitches is just about the best deer dog I have owned.

My wife and I turn out to help the Sussex police when the have a road casualty that involves deer.

    Welcome John.

Suspect silence thus far is a result of bated breath regards the neck shot sentence

I hope you find the forum welcoming and informative.
