I thought it would be faster...

I'm using 52.5 gr of H4380 and Remmy 7.5 Primers to push 130gr SSTs.
I haven't chrono'd it but the groups are good. I tried 53.5 gr but the groups opened away out...

the hodgdons site lists it at 3019fp/s i will check when i get home ,atb wayne

Until you try the loads through YOUR OWN RIFLE no one can tell you the velocity YOUR RIFLE GIVES nor how they will group in YOUR RIFLE !

Start to get the idea ?.

How a load will shoot in my rifle may have no bearing in how it will perform in YOURS.

Why is it people persist is asking this fairly futile question ?
