    Been for a look this evening on some land that my farmer has a problem with ferrel pigs . So I will start to thin them out a bit.

    Are there a lot of feral pigs about in the country? There is a thread started not too long ago with pictures of similar looking pigs, the poster was from the Highlands.

    That's a nice night's work.
    We have alot of feral pigs here in the states. Some look like spotted, shaggy farm pigs and others look like wild european boar. They have open seasons on them in many states, but that has lead to the release of domestic and captive bred European boar. which is a shame, because it will be only a matter of time before state wildlife officials are the only ones who can cull the feral stock, to eliminate incentive for releasing boars.
    Great picture, the country side there looks very nice.

    I think there more than we account for in the Uk, I know of 2 places , i see boar occasionally ..(don't ask)
