I bought one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CREE-5-Q5-...item27b8d349a6 cracking piece of kit. bought a figure of 8 for 6 off the bay as well. job done.

Oh then took everything off cos I went fully over to NV but I use the torch for spotting and picking up and am really happy with it. Only thing is if it goes pop you ain't gonna have much of a warrenty. But for the price......

Have you had a look at the Clulite Prospotter? Good quality, nice and light (350 grammes) and all the filters etc.

I have a Laser Genetics designator ND3 from Uttings http://www.uttingsoutdoors.co.uk/Pro...signator-nd-3/but I find it no good when cold. See they have a new sub zero version out but I'm not sure lasers work very well when its cold?

How does the Clulite compare to the Deben? http://www.ronniesunshines.com/tracer-tri-star-pro.html

Pretty much. I am out Saturday night weather permitting so will double check. I know I spotted a fox eyeshine at about 100 meters no bother last week.
