I need a Helly Hansen Warm Ice Crew in XXXL if anyone sees one. I have used HH since the mid to late 70's and have yet to find anything more effective that I can wear. I only use the Warm stuff when high seating, the rest of the time I use their Lifa base sets. ideal if you are on the move.

I am unfortunately allergic to wool, even merino, and have just had to sell a set of Nordkapp base layers because of it.

Only 6' 1" but I have big shoulders Just your average no-neck tight head prop Or rather I was in my youth. Now I have gone ever so slightly to seed. But there must be a few like me out there because XXXL stuff goes out of the shops quickly. On saying that, the Laird (from on here) must be a good sized lad, as he had the nordkapp stuff off me.

I bought some Merino underwear from Aldi just before winter. 20 euro a shirt and 20 euro for the longjohns. Up to know very comfortable and warm. I don't know if Aldi do sell them in the UK, but at least have a look. Not to sit on a highseat in freezing cold, but good for so many other occasions. I build up in layers and keep this on my body.
