    what calibres

    what calibres for boar are aloud in france as i am looking to go they but all the calibres i look at have links to the army

    Not the ones highlighted on this list, which I believe are just as loud as the ones which aren't.

    +1 for 7x64. Very popular for boar. Ammunition easily sourced. More than adequate for the job but sensible.

    In France I believe the 8x57R is also popular. Firms like Chapuis make nice double and single shots so chambered. RWS supplies the ammunition as do others.

    Once again the misuse of the term calibre when in fact they actually mean cartridges ...................................... "Sigh"
