I've had my foxpro spitfire since 23rd December and apart from calling 2 foxes in to the camera on Christmas day I've found it hard work during the day. I haven't really been out late into the night with it (maybe next week) because I was convinced I could call them in through the day for both camera and rifle.
Well I set up late this afternoon in an area I've not called before, had the caller out around 50 yards away and set on Field mouse distress. After around 10 minutes this vixen came running up the ditch at the bottom and in to the field and stood looking for the caller! For the first time in a long time as I looked through the scope I did say to myself "don't bloody miss this"! At 85 yards it was an easy one!
