    I shot a wolf...well a very large dog fox!!

    This has to be the largest fox I have ever shot or seen shot.

    Weighed nearly 25Ilb ish. Thats a guess but certainly a small roe deer weight.

    I saw him on Saturday night with a client, but couldn't get on him. Had a look around this evening with the boy doing his lambing training and it just sat there staring at me.

    Have you seen anything like that around ours??

    I can see where you got him with the anti roll bar. Only playin. Over the years i have shot a few foxes that really stand out from the norm but never really thought about weight. He is bound to be bloody heavy, he ate all your pheasants!

    As you may be able to see from the photo it is the length of my rifle which is 115cm long. I can normally carry a fox no problem with 1 hand round the back legs or tail, this beast needed 2 hands to carry it the 1/2 mile to the incinerator. Needless to say my arms were aching afterwards!! I would not like to hazard a guess what weight it was!!
