Cottages, Caravans and Fishing in North Yorkshire

Caravan van pitches available at competitive rate (including water and electric):
Each pitch includes electric hook-up and toilet facilities, fresh water, waste disposal and battery charging are provided for all guests.
We welcome well-behaved dogs but these must be closely supervised on site. For the comfort and relaxation of all our guests Brooklands is an adults-only site; all visitors must be 16 or over.

Two fully furnished cottages overlooking a fully stocked coarse fishing lake:
Brooklands offer two comfortable holiday apartments in this most tranquil setting overlooking the fishing lake. The apartments have been developed from a former granary; both are well equipped and self-contained. Each apartment has designated car parking, an enclosed garden area and a private fishing peg available for fishing on the course fishing lake.
Each apartment comfortably accommodates two adults, one with a double bed and one with twin beds with either bath or shower. They are each equipped with microwave, cooker, fridge and heating. Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels and tea-towels are provided, along with washing-up liquid, dish cloth and pan scourer – just bring yourselves and your food.

    Coarse fishing lake:
The 16-peg fishing lake is well stocked with carp, tench and bream, offering peaceful, secluded fishing. You will also find roach, rudd, chub and perch in this Aladdin’s lake. The area immediately around the lake is for anglers only and there is a ramped peg for disabled fishers. We also provide ample parking and toilet and hand-washing facilities for your convenience.

May is off to a flying start with carp fishing being first rate. The blossom is out in the orchard and the apartments have a fabulous view of the grounds and surrounding countryside.

June has been a good month in terms of fishing and weather. The odd cloud burst in the valley has kept the grounds lush and the lake well up. The carp have spawned and are back to fighting fitness.

What you fail to say is you only take bookings for a week or a fortnight during August and September
BE PREPARED IT WASNT RAINING WHEN THEY BUILT THE ARC

It is high season and not commercial sensible. However there is a week available at the end of August (at time of writing).

July is off to a cracking start and although we have had rain (who hasn't) the lake levels are spot on for a bit of fishing, however, touch more sun would be grand, although the neighboring sparrow hawk has defiantly not stopped play due to bad light and has been seen early morning to late evening passing though the grounds a mach 2, often with a trial of feathers from its latest pray.

    Hi Scrun,

Correct, we have not put prices on the site.

To bring a caravan, it is 12 per night, based on two persons shareing, includes electric, water and awning.

If you want to fish, the lake is £7 per day.

If you would like our cottage prices, pm me your email address.

    Thanks

    Regards

    William
