Alternative for Swarovski and Zeiss binoculars.

Hello I am looking for new binoculars in 8x42 parameters. I have got 500-600 to spend and I would like to buy the best glasses for the money. All opinions and advises are welcome.
    Cheers

Eisenbach are very good but cost less that Zeiss or Swaroski.

As mentioned several times before check out any localish RSPB resevre with shop and try what they have. You can often try them out in the reserve to compare makes/models. The RSPB branded ones are quite good too and well within your budget.

Lots here say the Minox ones are good but I have never seen any myself. Not looked to eb honest as I brought mine some years back and have not needed to look for others really since. I use a pair of Viking 8x44 waterproof roof prisms I got from the reserve shop at Pulborough Brooks in Sussex. They cost me back then less than 250.

i like steiner 8x56 ranger pros, i recon the 6x42s would be equally as good

Kahles, Macleods of Tain for the best price.

I've got Steiner binoculars and more than happy with them, two eyes and the steiners are a good match for one eye through the Swarovski scope.

Did any one of you tried Vanguard 10x42 Spirit ED Binoculars they have got good reviews.
There is a link to website but I don’t know if I can trust it.

excellent at low light and they sell for about 6-700.

    Nobody ever mentions Meopta meopro's
I have looked through the 8 and 10x32 and loved them, just not in my budget.
At the time I had an older pair of Leics 8x32 Trinvids and they were the equal of those.
Even on e-bay they are available within the OP's budget.
