    urgent help reckocking T3 bolt

    Dear All,

I would be extremely grateful for instructions on how to re-cocl a Tikka T3 bolt.

The bolt was out of the rifle during cleaning, and got kocked onto the floor (yes, I am a fool). It fired, and I can't work out how to re-cock it. It can't go back into the reciever in this configuration.

There is some urgency here - I'm due out with it first thing tomorrow.

    Many thanks,

    Matt

    you go

If similar to the Sako bolt, all it takes is a very firm grip. Hold the head and rotate the handle, simulating it being in the rifle. It needs a tight grip though. A soft jawed vice would do if you are careful.
